Epiphany 2015

18 Jan 2015

Happy feast of the Epiphany! This feast celebrates the Baptism of Jesus Christ and literally means the "the revelation from above..." During the celebration there is a special service where the Priest washes the feet of the congregation. This is in imitation of Jesus Christ who came as a servant of humanity, and revealed this to the Disciples by washing their feet.

Big John's Greek Feast 2015

17 May 2

John & Viola invited us down to their farm in Jamberoo for a Greek feast of lamb on the spit. The kids had an absolute ball with the farm animals, the adults injured some backs in fierce tug of war! And what would Greek feast be without rough game of soccer! It will surely become an annual event!

St Peter & Paul's Feast 2015

12 May 2015

His Grace Bishop Daniel visited and prayed the Liturgy with us in celebration of the Apostles Feast. And a feast it was! Whilst the kids were occupied with the serious matter of consuming chocolate and going wild on the jumping castle (an interesting combination), the rest of us feasted in great fellowship.
